Embryo adoption can be a very successful method of fertility treatment for:

 - single women having difficulty getting pregnant with own egg and donated sperm with help of otherfertility treatments.
 - couples having difficulty getting pregnant with own egg and sperm with help of other fertility treatments.

It's allowed to use donated embryos for infertile couples in the following cases:

- absence of egg cells due to several reasons;

- unfavorable medico-genetic prognosis;

- if poor quality embryos were repeatedly obtained and their transfer produced no pregnancy;

- if it is not possible to collect or use the husband's sperm in combination with the above mentioned factors.

Single women above 40 can apply for embryo donation without any medical indications.
