Donor anonymity
One of the main problems in being able to access egg donation treatment in other European countries is the shortage of egg donors. The shortage has got worse in the last few years because many countries have passed laws to forbid ‘anonymous’ egg donation. Since the removal of donor anonymity in these countries, many sperm and egg donors have decided to no longer offer their services. In Russia, anonymous egg donation is permitted, and donors may also be compensated properly for their time and effort. We therefore have no shortage of egg donors at AVA-Peter.
